Frozen mixed pepper
Shandong China
20251027
Frozen mixed vegetables is a blend product, and blends fail in two ways: the components thaw at different rates, or the ratio is not what you ordered. We freeze each vegetable separately by IQF, then combine to the ratio agreed on the order, so the mix you receive in June matches the mix you received in January.
The other practical difference is what goes into the blend. Cheaper mixes pad volume with the cheapest available item — usually carrot dice and potato — and the buyer discovers the ratio only after defrosting. Our blends are quoted with a written ratio, component by component, and the packing list repeats it. If you need 40/20/20/20 or a five-component catering mix, that is a specification, not a request to be interpreted.
Typical components are sweet corn, green peas, diced carrot, cut green beans, diced red pepper and onion. Each component is washed, cut to an agreed size, blanched where the end use requires it, and individually quick frozen before blending. Sizes follow your specification: 10 mm dice for catering, coarser cuts for soup and stew packs, whole or split peas where texture matters.
Because the components are frozen separately and then combined, you are not buying a product whose quality is set by its weakest ingredient. Colour, cut definition and free-flow are checked on the finished blend: a mix that clumps in the bag has been temperature-cycled somewhere between the freezer and the container.
Foodservice and catering — consistent dice and reliable ratio for bulk soup, stew and side dishes.
Retail private label — your ratio, your pack size, your artwork, for supermarket frozen aisles.
Ready-meal manufacturing — free-flowing IQF components that portion accurately on automatic lines.
Distributors — a repeatable specification that can be re-sold under your own label.
Buyers building a frozen vegetable programme often take single-item IQF lines alongside the blend — our frozen green onion and IQF green beans run on the same production and export schedule, which keeps documentation and shipment planning in one place.
Standard export packing is 10 kg cartons, with 1 kg and 2.5 kg retail bags available for private label. Palletised loading and mixed-carton programmes are quoted with the order.
The minimum order is 1 metric ton per blend, which lets a buyer run a full quality check before committing to a container. Container loading is confirmed against the packing format at order stage: retail bags cube out differently from 10 kg cartons, and frozen product is sold by weight, so an accurate figure matters more than a round one.
We pack under your brand: printed cartons, retail bag design, barcode and lot coding for traceability, and mixed-item outer cases for distributors carrying a range. Artwork is proofed and approved before the first production run, and the approved version is kept on file so repeat orders match without re-checking.
Samples are supplied before a bulk commitment — tell us the ratio and the tests your lab will run. Each shipment carries the commercial documents your broker asks for: commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and phytosanitary certificate, plus conformity documentation for the schemes our plants are audited to: ISO, BRC, HACCP, KOSHER, HALAL, NOP, EOS and AIB. Where your market requires a named certificate for clearance, state it at quotation stage so it is written into the order.
Phoenix Food Technology grows and processes in Ju County, Rizhao, Shandong, with cold storage on site and blast freezing before the product leaves the facility. Because the raw material comes from our own farmland and contracted growers in the same agricultural belt, the seasonal window is planned rather than bought at the last minute. Normal lead time is within three weeks of a signed contract, with a seven-day option when a supply window closes unexpectedly.

To quote accurately we need five details: destination port, blend ratio, cut size, packing format and expected volume. Send them through the enquiry form and the quotation comes back against that specification.
