Fresh white garlic in 10 kg mesh bags is the default export format for a reason: it vents, it is cheap to pack, and a buyer can see the bulbs without opening a carton. The trade-off is that mesh bags expose the crop — splits, undersized bulbs and soft necks are visible to your customer the moment the pallet lands.
We grade before packing rather than after: bulbs are sorted for diameter, skin condition and firmness, and the necks are dry. What goes into the bag is what we would accept ourselves.
Garlic is lifted, cured, topped and graded by diameter to the range agreed on the order, then packed loose in mesh bags. Skin type — ordinary white or the brighter white grades — is selected to the market; some destinations buy on appearance and pay for it, others buy strictly on price and size.
Grading covers diameter, bulb shape, skin integrity and firmness. Soft necks and sprouting are the two defects that matter most after arrival, and both trace back to curing and storage rather than to the field.
Wholesale and distribution — 10 kg mesh bags for market supply and repackers.
Foodservice — consistent bulb size for kitchens that portion by count.
Retail packing — graded material for prepack programmes.
Processing — raw material for peeling, paste and granule lines.
Buyers who process rather than resell usually pair fresh garlic with our processed lines: frozen ginger granules and frozen mixed vegetables ship on the same schedule and share one document set.
Standard export packing is 10 kg mesh bags, with 20 kg bags, cartons and retail prepacks available on request. Bags are labelled with lot number and packing date so a complaint can be traced back to a curing batch, not just to a container. Palletised loading and ventilated container options are quoted with the order.
The minimum order is 1 metric ton, so a buyer can check grading and condition before committing to a container. Container loading is confirmed against the packing format at order stage, since garlic needs airflow in transit.
We pack under your brand: printed mesh bags, retail prepacks with your label, barcode and lot coding, and mixed-size programmes for distributors. Artwork is proofed and approved before the first packing run and kept on file so repeat orders match.
Samples can be arranged ahead of a bulk commitment, subject to season and grade. Each shipment carries commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and phytosanitary certificate, plus food-safety documentation for the schemes our facilities are covered by: ISO, BRC, HACCP, KOSHER, HALAL, NOP, EOS and AIB. State any market-specific certificate requirement at quotation stage so it is written into the order.
Growing, curing, grading and cold storage are handled in Ju County, Rizhao, Shandong, on our own farmland and with contracted growers in the same belt. Garlic is seasonal, so the shipping window is planned against the crop rather than promised year-round at a fixed price. Loading is from Qingdao, normally within three weeks of a signed contract, with a seven-day option for urgent windows.
